One Person Can Lead. A Team Makes It Happen

With elections upon us, there's plenty of focus on who's going to lead the country. 

But one person can't do it alone. 

Behind every leader is a team of people making decisions, challenging ideas, bringing different skills and turning promises into action. 

And it's no different in business.

You can have a great leader, but if the people around them aren't working together, sharing responsibility and pulling in the same direction, how much can really be achieved?

Great teams don't happen by accident. They need trust, different perspectives, honest conversations and a shared understanding of what they're working towards.

The same goes for our workplaces. 

Perhaps when choosing our leaders, we should pay just as much attention to the team around them. 

Because ultimately, it's not about one person being brilliant. It's about what we can achieve together.
