When Do You Feel Like You Are Exactly Where You Should Be?

For me - it is always when I am facilitating.

It’s often in moments when the work feels natural. When you’re doing something you’re genuinely good at and deeply enjoy. There’s ease. Energy. A sense of alignment.

❓ Who are you in that moment?

❓ How are you showing up?

❓ What strengths are you using without effort?

Those moments matter because they reveal something important. They show you the version of yourself that works best - for you and for others.

And that’s where the real question begins. How often do you get to show up like that? And what would need to shift, even by just 5%, for that version of you to show up more often?

Small shifts matter far more than we realise. This is known as the 🦋 butterfly effect — the idea that tiny changes can create powerful ripple effects over time. A slightly different choice. A more intentional response. A subtle adjustment in how we lead, communicate, or connect.

When we make a 5% shift towards the version of ourselves we recognise in those “this feels right” moments, everything downstream begins to change — our energy, our confidence, our impact, and the way others experience us.

This isn’t about reinventing yourself.

🌟 It’s about noticing what already works and giving it more room to show up.🌟

At Icing Training this is what we see every day. People don’t need to become someone else to grow. They need the awareness and confidence to make small, intentional shifts towards who they already are at their best.

So as the year begins, perhaps the most powerful question isn’t -  “What do I need to do more of?” But - “How can I create more space for the version of myself that already knows how to lead, connect, and contribute at their best?”
